Michael Laird Architects is one of the largest architectural practices in Scotland with close to eighty employees, based across two offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our office as a Senior Architectural Visualiser.

Key Responsibilities

You will work directly with the Head of Design and other Directors to generate 3D models, concept diagrams and fully finished visualisations for both internal review and external presentations. You will be expected to have a strong experience of the following workflows :

  • Create 2D/3D visualisations at different stages of the design process (Massing / Conceptual / Detailed and Realistic).
  • Create 3D animations.
  • Create 360 and VR content.
  • Create 2D/3D Concept Diagrams.

Experience and Qualifications

Essential skills required: (preferably a minimum of 5 years experience)

  • Architectural qualification with a keen eye for design
  • SketchUp with additional knowledge of Rhino 3d (experience a plus)
  • Revit
  • Enscape & Lumion (V-Ray and Unreal Engine experience a plus)
  • Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign (Premier Pro experience a plus).
  • Knowledge of VuCity beneficial.
