Senior Architect / Director level

Full Time Inverness HRI Munro Architecture

Experienced Architect sought for Associate level appointment in Inverness office, fast track to Director level for right candidate, to lead on a variety of projects throughout the Highlands & Islands, and assist with growing and developing the practice.

We are looking for an ambitious, experienced Architect, ideally with some Management experience, who is up for taking the practice forward and passionate about delivering beautiful, sustainable architecture.

This role presents an opportunity for the right candidate to assist with growing and developing the practice.

What you’ll do..

  • Lead and manage design teams in the coordination of large and complex projects
  • Create high quality designs for a variety of project types
  • Carry out project contract administration / site inspections
  • Promote a culture of learning and development in the practice
  • Ambition to lead the practice and promote and lead office-wide initiatives
  • Support/lead marketing and business development initiatives

What we value..

  • 5-10 years of architectural experience, ideally across a range of project types
  • Experience leading a range of projects through various project phases
  • Exceptional design skills, and strong ability to communicate concept designs
  • Excellent technical design / construction detailing skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a workload of multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills and naturally pro-active
  • ARB registered Architects preferred
  • Understanding / experience of BIM Level 2 requirements would be desirable
  • Proficient knowledge of: Vectorworks or similar, Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite, is desirable,
